Saltus Teachers’ Academy Offers Info Session
The Saltus Teachers’ Academy, which aims to offer a range of individualized professional development opportunities for teachers at Saltus and throughout the island, is about to enter its third year.
During the 2015-2016 academic year, the Saltus Teachers’ Academy will be hosting two professional development courses: the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership.
Both of these qualifications are accredited by the National College for Teaching & Leadership in the UK and will be taught by highly qualified facilitators from UK-based Inspiring Leaders.
The first cohort, enrolled in this programme through the Saltus Teachers’ Academy, achieved a pass rate of 100%! The second cohort is embarking on the final stages of the course and is hopeful of a similar pass rate.
There will be an information session on getting the National Professional Qualifications for Middle and Senior Leadership through the Saltus Teachers’ Academy held at Saltus Grammar School on Monday 18th May at 4.30pm.
