Southampton Rangers defeated Willow Cuts to win the Lindo’s T20 this past weekend.
Southampton Rangers Win by 8 Wickets : Willow Cuts 137/8 Southampton Rangers 140/2
Willow Cuts batted first scoring 137/8 in their allotted 20 overs with captain Dwight Basden the top scorer with 25, while Kevon Fubler added 24 and Dean Stephens scored 21. With figures of 2-0-14-2, saw Chris Pitcher lead Southampton Rangers in the bowling department, while Ryan Belboda returned figures of 4-1-25-2.
In reply Southampton Rangers scored 139/2 in 18.3 overs, Dore led the way scoring 55 not out, while Curtis Jackson chipped in with 36, Gerald Simons and Ian Armstrong both scored 19 with Armstrong not out. Micah Simons had figures of 2-0-16-1 for Willow Cuts, while Sheroy Fubler bowled 2-0-17-1.
