    Hurricane Gate.

    • Mockingjay says:

Ahhh, am I missing something here.
One off the biggest ALLEGED fiasco’s in this Government and we cant get no clarity or comment from the Leader?
And he was the lead chair leader when Dr. Brown was under investigation, and the U.B.P./oba’ers are SILENT, especially a certain media.
      TWO BERMUDA’S

      • Mockingjay says:

Well I guess we’ll just have to hear from Sponge Bob, or should I say Fuzzy Bear.
        LMFAO

    • Eastender says:

When will Premier speak in Bermuda, re the airport saga?

  2. The premier should o well in his speech, as it is at present his involved with enough hurricanes within his own government, that he is the chief commander with no control. maybe he got caught up in some of the twisters in the hurricanes. at least we had a great coverage from international news media on the real hurricanes that is beyond human control , but he has no control over the hurricanes being created by his administration.

    • Terry says:

What the f**, was that all about Duane.

      Difference between Weather and Whether.

      I need a double.

      • @ Terry, exactly my point, He can’t even deal with the damn mess his administration has done and is doing, something he full control over, but he is in Florida talking about a event that he has no control over.

Yeah like we in little ole Bermy can say yada yada yada and make a real differnce in the way we do hurricanes in the future.

God get’s ready to blow our ox nothing we can do to stop it, but Mr. Dunkley has loads he can do do stop the tornadoes and hurricanes that are effecting our political climate, Terry your not that stupid so stopping acting like it.

    • jt says:

      In English?

    • Mockingjay says:

I hope he lets them know the difference between a Hurricane and a Tropical Storm.

  3. UH OH says:

RCI……dont do it Crocky someones gonna get lured into buying timeshare, …

  4. Big Eyes says:

Premier, can you please address this issue with the airport…. That’s all.

    • Raymond Ray says:

@ “Big Eyes: Have you personally read this supposedly
“document” released by the Canadian Government?

      • Big Eyes says:

I”m speaking to the premier not you. No need to reply back.

        • Seriously says:

That Raymond is everywhere defending the government. How about actually reading other people’s views for a change and digesting what they’re saying? It may actually make sense. The premier is busy photo opping elsewhere and ignoring issues that are important to the general public that voted for him.

      • Quo vadis says:

I have read the emails. Mr. Ray, since you’re fond of commenting, perhaps answer this question:

Email from CCC on Apr 15, 2014: “Intent is to privatize the airport operation.”

Bob Richards MP (Mar. 31, 2015, town hall meeting re airport): “No, it is not privatization.”

        Who is lying?

        • Raymond Ray says:

You’re attempting the old “smoke in the mirror” trick. Sorry, it’s not working for you nor the group who claim to be,the “Peoples Campaign.” Again I recommend you re-read the proposal and see who’ll benefit upon completion of said airport and in 33 years time.
Remember they, C.C.C. will be responsible for the up-keeping for 33 yrs. e.g. all the maintenance of the structures and all things that will be associated with this airport. So answer me / us, how is this not beneficial to the people and the Government, no-matter who they may be in years to come?

          • Mockingjay says:

Hey Stormin Norman, you are missing the point.
Sponge Bob said CCC introduced him to Aecon but the report state otherwise so that’s LYING.
And after 35 years of privatization and ALL the $$$$$$$$ going to Canada the Island is at a disadvantage and the building will be outdated.
It’s called DEPRECIATION…………. like your Government

            • Raymond Ray says:

Mockingjay, (whoever you are)you’re soooo foolish! First, we aren’t giving anyone e.g. C.C.C 100% of the revenue that’s made at the new and improved airport, that by the way they C.C.C are paying for out of their pockets not ours
So, explain to us all where are we to get money to rebuild an airport? Look again at the % they will get and the % Bermuda will get…Please, stop the crap!

        • ex OBAer says:

The new cog in the wheel is the Premier, cause he don’t seems to know what the kitchen cabinet is cooking, up for him lol.

  5. RU Kidding says:

What a complete waste of money!

  6. Jennifer says:

While the Premier chooses to speak in Florida “allegedly” strenghting relations with the mega cruise line RCI… recent publicly released documentation courtesy of Cadanian Officials “allegedly” exposing collusion in the Airport Gate Controversy effectively Diminishing Bermudas own current natural disaster……. While not a hurricane it is certainly a major threat to the Island…Has the premier heard the public outcry and will he take action?? The outcome appears a bit “FUZZY”!!!

  7. allegedlyfuzzyinbda says:

Oh Canada oh Canada….we thank you for the documents….

  8. Quo vadis says:

So the Premier can speak overseas, but he can’t speak to us here about the airport??

    • Come Correct says:

Are you slow? If the premier could amswer everything there wouldn’t even be a point in having ministers with a specific portfolio. Seriously, did I need to spell that out for you?

    • Zevon says:

What are you, like nine years old? Grow up for chrissake.

  9. Smiths says:

you ever stop and think that there could be a plug that the Bermuda re-insurance companies cover most of the US hurricane claims? and that’ll show the US that we actually do serve a purpose – not just dodge taxes.

you ever stop and think that maybe the Premier will share some information about how our infrastructure can weather the storms better than those in the US?

you ever stop and think that maybe the Premiers ticket and accom. was paid for by the conference because he was asked to speak?

you ever stop a think that RCI needs to have that courtesy call once and a while to make sure that we are still partners with them in the cruise business?

    • Terry says:

“you” ever think that were morons.

Enjoy your job in the re-/insurance business.

      Leg bowled…………

    • allegedlyfuzzyinbda says:

Where exactly do you get your info…..apparently not directly from the Canadian Gov…your point is what…listen more closely to what your community is concerned with..then maybe you can discuss the issues …access the info avail to you via the technology in your hand..thanx to public record request the Canadian govt has given you..yes you..an Opportunity to read all correspondence regarding the “alleged” agreement made on behalf of Bermuda citizens…then and only then should you make an educated comment…

  10. Raymond Ray says:

@ Smiths: Unfortunately, some do not stop to think…Sad yes,but true :-(

  11. Scotty says:

Did you ever stop to think why Mr Crockwell is going to Florida? Let’s be honest, he really doesn’t have a job. He has the BTA. What happened to video conferencing with RCI?
Did you ever stop to think this is a waste of taxpayers money?
We as taxpayers need report cards on what Ministers have achieved at least once a year. The OBA elected women with the exception of Pat Gordon Pamplin and Jeanne Atherden are literally missing in action….and we are paying these women!

  12. allegedlyfuzzyinbda says:

Bermuda…here is your transparency…. We (OBA) will do what We want when We want to…and leave the Island for alleged “pressing” business such as Hurricanes while all the s#$% hits the fan….basically telling Bermudians there is nothing you can do about it….government as usual!!

  13. Seriously says:

That Raymond is everywhere defending the government. How about actually reading other people’s views for a change and digesting what they’re saying? It may actually make sense. The premier is busy photo opping elsewhere and ignoring issues that are important to the general public that voted for him.

    • Raymond Ray says:

Yes, I voted for them, O.B.A. and I will again before voting the former Progressive Labour Party into “power.” That’s my rights!

      • Seriously says:

Nobody mentioned anything about who you are voting for. I said you’re not viewing the issues from an objective standpoint and that’s more dangerous than being an OBA diehard.

  14. JUNK YARD DOG says:

How many promises are broken every day? Thousands. We can not even trust the past.
