Videos: BFA Football Prizegiving Awards Gala
The Bermuda Football Association held their Prize Awards on Saturday evening [May 9], with the island’s top players honoured in various categories including Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player, Goalkeeper of the Year and Coach of the Year.
The Most Valuable Player Premier Division was Damon Ming from Dandy Town Hornets, while the Most Valuable Player for the First Division was Dunn-ya Taylor from Boulevard Blazers.
The Defensive Player award for the Premier Division went to Sean Brangman from Somerset Trojans, while Conneko Trott from the Boulevard Blazers won the Defensive Player award for the First Division.
The Young Player award in the Premier Division was won by Jahtino Richardson-Martin from the Dandy Town Hornets, and the Young Player award in the First Division went to LaQuan Thomas from BAA.
The Goalkeeper of the Year for the Premier Division went to Shaquille Bean from Somerset Trojans, while the Goalkeeper of the Year Premier Division went to Gregory Rose from the Devonshire Colts.
The Premier Division Coach of the Year honours went to Danvers Seymour Jr. from Somerset Trojans, while Aaron Williams from the Boulevard Blazers picked up Coach of the Year honours in the Premier Division.
The Referee of the Year was Antione Augustus, the Young Referee of the Year went to Seth Taylor and Tashun Simons, the Fair Play Team of the Year in Premier Division was Devonshire Cougars and Fair Play Team of the Year First Division went to Young Men Social Club
