Students Hear About New Graduate Programme
Bermudian students had the opportunity to learn more about a new graduate programme when they attended an information session at a leading Island law firm.
Codan Services Limited [Codan], which is affiliated with Conyers Dill & Pearman, is to launch a new graduate trainee programme that will introduce Bermudians to a professional career in corporate services, as well as enable them to embark on further professional qualifications through the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators [ICSA].
It will be available to Bermudians who have recently completed or are on track to complete a degree from an accredited university.
To give more information about the programme and the professional qualifications, Codan held an open night at its Bermuda offices and 29 Bermudian students attended.
“We have already heard from many of the students who have stated that the information event was an invaluable opportunity to meet people from Conyers and Codan and to hear about the Corporate Services profession,” said Justine Blakesley, Head of Codan.
Mrs Blakesley added: “Embarking on a new career can be one of the most exciting times in a person’s life. The right role with a supportive, progressive employer can help people take the next critical step in shaping a successful and rewarding career.
“Hopefully this event helped the students who attended gain insight into the professional career opportunities available to them within Conyers and specifically Codan and the corporate services profession.”
