Comedian D.L. Hughley: “Bermuda Is So Fly”
Comedian D.L. Hughley recently posted a photo of himself on the island for his 1.2 million Facebook fans, captioning the photo by saying “Bermuda is so fly” and attracting more than 7,000 likes on the social media website.
Mr. Hughley was in Bermuda for a show hosted by ENVY Productions at the Fairmont Southampton on Saturday, July 4th.

Known as one of the original kings of comedy, Mr. Hughley served as host of his own late night talk show on CNN, titled “D.L. Hughley Breaks the News,” served as a weekly contributor to the nationally syndicated radio show “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” and participated in the 16th season of the hit ABC show “Dancing with the Stars,” alongside partner Cheryl Burke.

bermudians must believe in bermuda and be pumped about our island. how? by promoting it at every opportunity. when i travel, i always take a Bermuda tee-shirt to wear. i will ask people if they’ve been to Bermuda. the power of word of mouth exists. i carry pictures of Bermuda on my tablet and phone for quick reference. when i am home and see trash in my path i will pick it up – Keep Bermuda Beautiful. remember that? how about saying that ‘good morning/afternoon/evening” to people on the street to everybody. we start by embracing each other instead of the nasty fighting that goes on. it starts here.
