BHB To Reroute Traffic At Acute Care Wing
In order to install a new well pump, BHB Engineering Services will be rerouting traffic at the entrance of the Acute Care Wing [ACW] on Tuesday, July 7 starting at 4.00pm. The installation will take approximately four to six hours to complete.
A spokesperson said, “During that time vehicular traffic will run in a two-way system on the hospital campus to the main entrance. The area will be manned by security personnel and marked with traffic cones. Please use caution when entering and exiting the site and obey the traffic marshals.
“Pedestrian traffic from the ACW main parking lot will have to enter the building via the sidewalk on Point Finger Road and stairs from there to the Emergency Department entrance. Security personnel will be on hand to help guide you.
“The new well pump replaces one that was more than 10 years old and services the hospital’s General Wing.”
