Digicel Bermuda today [July 20] officially opened the doors to the public of its new flagship store located in the Boyle Building on Church Street.
“The new 4,400 square foot location is the first fully interactive customer experience store in Bermuda, offering a full range of technology and telecom services. Customers can now pay their bill and top up via kiosks, and browse the latest mobile devices, tablets and laptops,” Digicel said.
.
“As a commitment to providing the best service, the Repair Centre will be relocated to the new location along with a new state of the art Customer Service area. Customers will now be able to speak directly to an agent in a comfortable pod providing privacy. Each pod is POS enabled which is designed to significantly reduce any queuing and customer waiting times.
“With expanded product ranges and the launch of a new product line the new store will be the island’s one stop shop for mobile and communications technology.”
Opening day saw giveaways and discounts offered to customers and Digicel said, “The giveaways will continue though out the week with customers having the chance to win a series of extraordinary prizes including: Phones, home streaming Apple TV and G-Box, 3 months of complimentary service and much more.”

Question for Digicel, is your new Flagship Store handicap accessible? Would be nice to know
watch the video – the guy says it is
Thanks
Yes it is accessible from an entrance at the west side of the building where there is a code compliant ramp.
“Best network” actually LOL, LOL
they will leave the others behind….far far behind
Congratulations…..so far excellent service Island wide….
Apart from the areas where there is little or no reception …
Look! There’s a line already backed up towards the doors… Same old Same old.
Just another long line to stand in!!!!
“Best service”? Where? Certainly not in Bermuda. I can’t wait until Cup Match when I won’t even be able to use my phone. Instead of spending who knows how much on a shiny new store, how about you fix your network. As for BTC, worst broadband access provider in Bermuda. It seems like a match made in heaven.
And all that red on that building is gaudy and obnoxious. There ought to be legislation about that. It’s hideous!
A great shame that Mr. Denis O’Brien and Mr. Michael Lowry were not in attendance as this store would not exist except for their insights in the early years.
They can put lipstick on a pig as much as they like, but it still want change the fact that Cell One have more coverage. They are just copying off of Cell One. Cell One are better.
