$54,000 Raised For Nepal Earthquake Relief
The Bermuda Red Cross will be closing the account for the Nepal Earthquake appeal on Monday [July 6], and as of today the total amount raised is $54,000.
“According to the Nepal Red Cross this earthquake has affected 5.6 million people, killing 8,633 and injuring 17,932,” the Red Cross said.
“For anyone who wishes to make a donation, due to time constraints, we ask that you make an online donation to Butterfield Bank A/c 20 006 060 663859 200 or call our offices at 236-8253 ext. 226 with debit/credit card details no later than Monday, 6th July.
“We are always thrilled with the outpouring of support given to our disaster appeals and thank everyone who has already generously donated.”
