Cricket: Malachi Jones Banned Until July 20th

Cricket player Malachi Jones has pleaded guilty to “showing serious dissent at an umpire’s decision” and will be banned from all cricket until July 20th, the Bermuda Cricket Board said.

The BCB statement said, “Malachi Jones has pleaded guilty to a Level 2 breach of the Bermuda Cricket Board Code of Conduct, paragraph 2.2.1 “Showing serious dissent at an Umpire’s decision”.

“In accordance with the Code of Conduct sanction table the penalty for a Level 2 breach first offence is a suspension from all cricket for a period sufficient to include 2 Logic Premier League Games.

“Therefore Jones is banned from all cricket until July 20th.”
