YouthVision Back To School Event Postponed
Due to the weather forecast, YouthVision Promotions has decided to postpone their Back 2 School event which was scheduled to be held tomorrow [Sept 5] at Clearwater Beach field.
The event will instead be held next Saturday, September 12, at the same venue. “Next Saturday is forcast to be sunny, so Lord willing it will be the perfect opportunity to have our Back 2 school party,” said YVP Director, Desmond Crockwell.
With activities such as a youth/adult 5-a-side football tournament, live entertainment, BBQ, beach volleyball, fun castles, local vendors and more, Mr Crockwell hopes next Saturday will be ideal for everyone, young and old, to come and enjoy the perfect party.
“It also happens to be my birthday, so the party will go on”, noted Mr. Crockwell. ”We are ready to go now. We are giving out back to school supplies for anyone who still needs anything. We have lots of pens, pencils, erasers, books, school shoes, lunch pouches, and gym bags.
“If we have to go to schools and donate them, than thats what we will do. Our young people have a lot of people out here who love and support them, as has been shown in recent days, so we will continue to do our part.”
