Man Charged With Possessing Firearm & Ammo
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Sept 8], 46-year-old Eston Joell was charged with possessing a U.S. Army Colt firearm, five rounds of .45 ammunition and possessing other ammunition on September 1, 2015.
As the charges can only be tried in the Supreme Court, the defendant did not have to enter a plea. His bail was set $20,000 with a surety, with the Court ordering he must report three times a week to Hamilton Police Station and surrender his travel documents.
