Photos & Video: Break The Silence 5K Run/Walk
Ovarian Cancer Awareness Bermuda [OCAB], an affiliate of BCHC, held its first annual Break The Silence 5K Walk/Run at Southside, St. David’s today [Sept 27] in spite of the inclement weather.
With close to two hundred participants showing up at the start and intermittent downpours, Jennifer Alen placed first with a time of 19:49 while Peter Gracey was first male across the line and second overall with a time of 20:34.

Trevor Lindsay placed third overall and first in his age group crossing the finish in 20:42 while Martin Vezina placed fourth in a time of 21:12.
The second female across the line and placing sixth overall was Melissa Logie in a time of 21:32 while eith place finisher and third female was Vivienne Lochhead with a time of 21:44. The full results of this morning’s race can be found here on Bermuda Timing.
