In the forecast discussion, BWS forecaster Michelle Pitcher said, “Infra-red satellite shows that Bermuda remains in an area of subsidence created by TS Henri.
“Light to moderate winds will be gradually backing through the day and overnight as TS Henri passes to the east. There are no watches or warnings associated with TS Henri at this time and none are anticipated.”
The BWS forecast for today says, “Light to moderate winds with a few passing showers continue as Tropical Storm Henri slowly passes to the east of Bermuda.
“A trough will arrive with a few showers and a risk of thunderstorms Friday afternoon and persist into Saturday morning. Mainly light winds and partly cloudy skies are then expected for the rest of the weekend.”
