Sudden Deaths: Baby & 29-Year-Old Woman
Two sudden deaths occurred this morning [Sept 15], with the police confirming the very sad news that a three-week old baby and a 29-year-old woman passed away.
A police spokesperson said, “First responders attended a report of an incident that took place at 3:43am this morning [Sept 15] at Tommy Fox Road in St. Georges.
“Upon police arrival, it was ascertained that a three week old baby was found in a non-responsive state. As a result, the child was transported to KEMH where the baby was certified dead at 4:49am.
“Foul play is not suspected in this incident and the Bermuda Police Service extends our sincerest condolences to the family of the deceased.
“Meantime, at 6:35am this morning at Wellington Back Road, first responders attended a report of an unconscious female.
“The 29 year old woman was transported to KEMH where she was later pronounced dead at 7:32 am. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.”
