Seminar: Customs And BEDC Letter of Credit

October 23, 2015

In September 2015, the BEDC, in partnership with H. M. Customs, announced that it had allocated an annual $200,000 in order to facilitate lines of credit up to $10,000 for businesses that are importing goods for retail sale on the island.

On October 28th business operators are encouraged to find out more about the “Customs and BEDC Letter of Credit” at a seminar that will take place at the BIU on Union Street from 5:30-7:00pm.

The seminar is sponsored by the Department of E-Commerce and coordinated by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation and will provide more information about this Letter of Credit, a product specifically designed to assist start up and existing small businesses with inventory purchases directly related to retail in order to increase sales or services.

Existing e-entrepreneurs and those starting online businesses can take advantage of this and other free lunch-time and evening Inspire eBusiness workshops by simply signing up at www.inspireebusiness.bm.
