Friends Of Hospice Reschedules Glow Party
The 20th Annual Glow Party will be held this Saturday, October 24th, after having been rescheduled due to Hurricane Joaquin.
“A fun night of activity held in the beautiful grounds under twinkling lights at The Old House, 3 Point Shares Road Pembroke. Fun starts at 7pm and finishes at midnight,” a spokesperson said.
There are a few tickets left for purchase at $125 per person which includes a 3 course buffet meal and 2 drink tickets. A table of 10 can be purchased for $1,000 or $100 per person.
The evening includes lots of fun activity – fun glow merchandise – a silly photo booth – two duck races in the pool with prizes for the first 10 ducks in each race – face painting – door prizes and dancing.
“The highlight of the evening is the Champions Race which is the 12 large ducks which have been painted and named by local artists. The ducks are auctioned off and raced in the pool.
“The first prize winner receives a 3 hours cruise for 8 people with Oyster Point Yacht Charters. This year we have added additional auction items that will interest many attendees including local art – local jewelry creations – wine baskets – gift certificates and other very fun and interesting items.
“Main sponsors of the event are Burroughs Lightbourn, Bacardi, Demco, and Brandit. Many other local firms have contributed discounts to provide a fun evening and donated lots of prizes to be won.
“Anyone interested in purchasing tickets or a table, can call the Friends of Hospice office at 232 0859 or email Friendsofhospice@bhb.bm
