PartnerRe Women’s Race/Walk On Sunday
The PartnerRe Women’s 5K Run & Walk will take place on Sunday [Oct 4], with hundreds of women expected to take part in the event, which raises money for charity.
A spokesperson said, “Just a reminder to the Ladies of Bermuda to join the tradition of the last eighteen years years and walk or run the PartnerRe 5K route/ Girls 2k Route between Botanical Gardens and Lovers Lane, Paget, to help support this important women’s cause.

“After the race, relax at the Gardens and enjoy a nutritious breakfast available to all participants gerously donated by Butterfield and Vallis. There will be water and Powerade at the start and finish an one water stop, with refreshments generously provided by Barrits.
“There will also be 1000 fantastic Goody Bags available for the first 1000 ladies at Number Pick up on Saturday 5th October between 9.00 and 11.00 am in Jack King Building Botanical Gardens.
“Paper entries are closed however you can continue to enter online at www.racedayworld.com until Friday October 2nd at 5.00pm. Race awards include thousands of dollars in prizes for all age categories, plus fantastic draw prizes and Grand Draw prizes.
“There will be individual and school prizes in the Junior [7-14 years] race. Draw prize winners must be present at time of draw.
