Although the passage of Hurricane Joaquin impacted two of the earlier events that were scheduled, the remaining events will continue, with the Open House to take place on Wednesday, the Memorial Service and Reserve Police Change of Command Ceremony to take place on Thursday, the BPS Sports & Fun Day to take place on Friday, while the Gymkhana and BBQ charity Crown & Anchor Night will take place on Saturday.

The ‘Commissioner’s Vision Award’ was originally scheduled for Monday evening and was cancelled due to Hurricane Joaquin, however Commissioner of Police Michael DeSilva has invited the winners and their families to the Berkeley Institute on Monday October 12th at 6pm for an awards presentation and reception.
