Basketball: Rimrockers & Thunder Cats Win
The Cellone Island basketball League saw another double-header inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium with 194 points scored on the night.
The opener saw the Rimrockers hold off Skyforce to get back in the win column winning 46 – 42. Jamie Sardaino scored 12 points for the Rimrockers, while the Skyforce got a game high 18 points from Ranshon Tankard.
In the second game of the night it saw the 6-4 Thunder Cats take the 4-6 Crossfire Ballers, with the Thunder Cats coming out on top 63 – 43. Chris Crumpler scored 15 points to lead the Thunder cats to victory, while the Crossfire Ballers got a game high 18 points from Markus Robinson.
