Christmas Events Set For Dockyard In December
Three days of Christmas-themed events are set to be held at Dockyard on December 6, December 13, and December 20, including the annual Singing Carols with Dolphins event.
On December 6 from 12.00pm through 7.00pm and December 13 from 12.00pm through 6.45pm, festivities will include a free zip line, fun castles, stories with Mrs. Claus, and the Singing Carols with Dolphins event, while the parade will take place at 5.30pm on December 6 and Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves will be handing out glow sticks prior to the event at 5.00pm at the Museum Gates on December 13.
A spokesperson said, “From 1.00pm through 3.00pm on all three days, visit Santa and experience other Christmas festivities at the Frog & Onion and Craft Market with Christmas in the Cooperage. Jean Paul the Frog Mascot will also be there from 1.00pm through 3.00pm, with live music from 1.00pm through 4.00pm.”
“Hang a Frog on the Giving Tree [in Atrium] in support of the Family Centre and enjoy a Taste Of Bermuda with samples of tasty delectable and Dockyard Brewing samples also. Visit the Craft Market to watch crafters work their magic and indeed have a go yourself from 1.30pm to 4.00pm.
“There will also be book signing by several local authors who are on hand to talk about and individualize their books as gifts. And why not start the day with a Complimentary Historical Walk of Dockyard starting at the Anchor Fountain at 10:30am.
“Don’t Forget to check items off your Christmas shopping list; when you spend $25 in the Mall, you will be entered into a draw for a prize worth $50.”
