Gershon Gibbons, Neil Speight, and Clay Smith
The BCB’s Neil Speight said, “The BCB are very fortunate to have had top notch candidates vying for this post. Clay has a proven track record as a coach and a player and he brings with him an abundance of passion and national pride.
“I am particularly heartened that both Arnold Manders and Lorenzo Tucker will continue to play key roles in the High Performance arena of Bermuda cricket, their experience, expertise and diverse skill sets will play a huge part in making sure that no stone is left unturned in improving the international status of our senior men’s team.”
wow. the coach of the most distruptive team in cricket last season(cleveland) gets the job to coach the national team. looking forward to seeing bermuda play that Cleveland brand of cricket. (sarcasm).
Good coach,
Despite shortcomings, which we all have, Clay brings a can do, hands on attitude to the post… I wish him well
Sad. I was hoping Herbie Bascome Jr. would of been successful. We have not matured to have an honest rasta? Best wishes to Clay, he will have to step up his game.
Not sure Bascome’s rasta beliefs have anything to do with his not being selected…..please explain.
Herbie Bascome should be involved also.
