Court: Man Denies Possessing Heroin & Cocaine

Appearing in the Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments Session, a 52-year-old man denied charges of possessing cocaine, heroin and money which he knew to be he proceeds of criminal activity.

Dwayne Gilbert pleaded not guilty to two charges of possessing cocaine and one charge of possessing diamorphine [heroin] on 12th August 2014; one charge of possessing equipment intended for use with illegal substances; and one charge of possessing $11,928 which he knew to be the proceeds of criminal activity.

Mr Gilbert was given a provisional trial date in January and a fixed trial date in February.
