Police Confirm Death Of Philip Benjamin James
The Bermuda Police Service has today [Dec 27] confirmed the death of 21 year old Philip Benjamin Winfield James after Mr James succumbed to his injuries suffered in a collision in Warwick yesterday.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 21yr old Philip Benjamin Winfield James.
“Around 6:20pm on Saturday 26th December, Mr. James was riding an auxiliary cycle when he was involved in a collision with a car headed in the opposite direction, near the junction of Middle Road and Khyber Pass Warwick.
“He was taken to KEMH for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
“A full investigation is underway and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to the family to assist with this difficult process.
“The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr James.”
