Traffic Light Outage At Front St And Court St

[Updated] The City of Hamilton is advising the public of a traffic light outage at the junction of Front Street and Court Street, with police expected to direct traffic until the light is operational again.

A spokesperson said, “A traffic advisory that City of Hamilton is aware of a traffic light outage at the junction of Front Street and Court Street.

“We anticipate that police will monitor and direct traffic during rush hour until such time the fault is repaired. We urge motorists to exercise extra patience at that junction until such time that the lights are operational again.”

Update 5.00pm: Following work done by BELCO, the traffic light is now fully operational.

A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton would like to thank BELCO for their efficiency in restoring power to an area of Front Street where traffic lights were also affected at the junction of Front Street and Court Street.

“The traffic lights are now fully operational and City of Hamilton thanks the public for their patience and extra care during the short outage.”
