National Squash Championships Set For March

January 14, 2016

The Digicel Bermuda National Squash Championships is set to be held from March 13 to 18 at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association [BRSA], in its ninth consecutive year of sponsorship by Digicel.

Over 100 participants are participating every year; this is the biggest local squash event of the year. This time World #186 Micah Franklin is confirmed to play, with defending champion Patrick Foster going for his 10th title.

Runa Reta is not defending her ladies title as she is leaving Bermuda and returning to Canada. Kristen Johnson, CourtHouse Pro, is looking for a first title, and Noah Browne of Amherst College has been confirmed for the event.

Robert Maycock of Dartmouth University is now back in Bermuda and will be looking for a first title.

This is a full PSA World Tour ranking event for men, and a qualification event for the Bermuda National team to compete at the Caribbean Championships this summer.
