Registration Opens For Third Sector Conference

Registration is now open for the Centre on Philanthropy’s Third Sector Conference, which will be held on Friday, January 29th at the Hamilton Princess.

A spokesperson said, “The Centre on Philanthropy presents Building Hope, Bermuda’s only Third Sector Conference on Friday, January 29th at the Hamilton Princess.

A spokesperson said, “We invite non-profit leaders, staff and board members, corporate and individual donors, faith-based organisations, volunteers, activists, government and public sector workers, and social entrepreneurs to spend the day collaborating first hand with experts and peers to strengthen the charitable sector.

“This promises to be an impactful conference with objectives that reach beyond one day. Building Hope will open with a lively and thought-provoking Pechakucha session.

“Philanthropists, economists, and various industry professionals will lead keynote presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions to explore capacity building, fundraising, compliance, our current and future social state and much more!

“The Centre on Philanthropy will also unveil a new program to support collaboration and consolidation within Bermuda’s charitable sector. If you work in, support or are interested in starting a charity, you must attend.”

Registration for the Early Bird Special, which costs $175 for members and $200 for non-members, is open now through January 15; the price will go up on January 16.
