Keena Simmons Featured As “Jet Beauty”

Bermudian Keena Simmons has been featured as a “Beauty of the Week” by Jet Magazine today [Jan 21], with a photo of the model taken by Glenn Tucker appearing on the publication’s website.

The 41-year-old Ms. Simmons resides in New Jersey, where she works in marketing and government administration and as a Zumba Fitness Instructor

She has appeared on the Dr. Oz show, organized a charity Zumba event for autism, and also put together a calendar entitled ‘Fit and Fabulous at Forty,’ with the cover featuring an image shot in Bermuda by Mr Tucker.

The Jet article says, “Today’s Beauty of the Week is a woman who lives up to the standards JET set decades ago. This week’s Beauty talks about why she chose to compete and what she hopes to achieve in life.”

In the article, Ms. Simmons says, “Being a JET Beauty would help me to be an example to all women. I want to show them that you can be healthy and fit at any age and that you can live your dreams despite the many obstacles that are bound to occur in life.”
