Bermuda Dogs To Compete At Crufts In UK

The Bermuda Kennel Club [BKC] announcde that three dogs from Bermuda will be travelling to compete in Crufts, one of the world’s largest dog events in the world.

At the 2015 Bermuda Dog Shows, which were official qualifying shows for CRUFTS, five dogs qualified for this prestigious opportunity.

This will be the third time that qualifying dogs from Bermuda conformation dog shows will be going to compete. Crufts 2016 is due to be held in the UK from 10-13 March with 22,000 dogs competing for Best In Show. It the 125th Anniversary of CRUFTS.

The three dogs, one from Canada and two from Bermuda, going to compete are:

  • Papillon, Fantasys Que Sera Sera Chi Chi owned by Gerald MacLellan and shown by his wife, long time supporter and repeat exhibitor/visitor to the Bermuda Shows, Lynne MacLellan
  • Papillon, Bda Ch Denzel Divine Madness, co-owned by Michael deFontes & Tracy Burdick
  • Keeshond, Bda Ch. Musical Kees Pavrotti, owned and bred by: Janice Moran

Carole Havercroft, President, The Bermuda Kennel Club: “About 15 people from Bermuda will be attending Crufts as supporters and to enjoy the huge amount of dog related events and vendors at Crufts.
