Basketball League: Flyboys United Win Game #1
The CedarBridge Gymnasium was the scene of the first game of the 2015-16 Cellone Island Basketball League Championships.
The game featured the #1 seed Flyboys United taking on the #2 seed Twisters, with the first points of the game coming after four minutes of action.
Akil Smith hit a late 3-pointer to earn the Flyboys a 45 – 40 win over the Twisters. The regular season MVP Kieron Burgess scored 12 points for Flyboys, while Kevin Stephens was the top scorer for the Twisters with a game high 19 points.
