Bermuda Can Be Summed Up As ‘Perfection’
“Bermuda can be summed up in one word – perfection,” according to an article from Travel Noire, which says, “from the people, to the beaches, to the food, to the people and culture, there’s no shortage of a good time.”
“That’s exactly the interpretation I got as soon as I stepped foot off of the place to my island getaway. This would later be confirmed throughout the duration of my stay, for a number of reasons,” writes Kimberly Wilson.
“To start, the culturally diverse island, which is steeped in British tradition and tinged with Caribbean charm, is what dreams are made of. From the people, to the beaches, to the food, to the people and culture, there’s no shortage of a good time.”
In listing the “7 reasons why Bermuda is right for you,” the article cites the parties, the drinks, the distance, people, culture, local flavors and of course our pink sand beaches which the article describes by saying, “a day on the beach in Bermuda is full of pink sand, turquoise waters, and endless blue skies.”
It may be beautiful but you are stuck if the buses and ferrys are on strike.
Bermuda is beautiful, but this foolishness going on now and the occasional stupid walk outs called by the BIU, do nothing to attract people to the island!! That said, it is ironic that they are protesting against those who have invested many years there getting status. Why would they want to stay where they are not welcome??
Be quiet. You’re creating negativity where it isn’t needed.
Don’t put your head in. Sand accept that if you don’t change you are going to end up very isolated, wildcat illegal striking helps no one. The government should look to the UK for direction, get the Army to step in and drive the buses, even the threat of the training the troops will make the workers think twice. It worked in the UK for the Ambulance and fuel disputes.
