BCB Cricket Trials For National U17 & U14
The Bermuda Cricket Board are holding cricket trials for National U17 and U14 age-groups next week.
“Due to the generous continued support of the Bank of Bermuda Foundation and the XL Catlin Foundation the BCB is pleased to confirm that it will be holding free cricket training and games for the National U14 and National U17 squads this summer,” the BCB said.
“Open trials are for young cricketers interested in playing for the National U14 and National U17 squads this summer.
“The age cut-off date is born on, or after, September 1 1998 for the U17 squad. The age cut-off date is born on, or after, September 1 2001 for the U14 squad.
“The trials will be held at Berkeley School Nets:
- U17 – Monday March 28 at 4.30pm
- U14 – Tuesday March 29 at 4.30pm
“The players that are currently in the BCB Academy Fast-track or Emerging Players are automatically selected to the squads. Players that are unable to attend on the above date should contact the BCB office on 292-8958.”
how do overseas Bermudian cricketers get involved?
I’d suggest contacting BCB directly by phone or email, to ensure that player is up for consideration going forward. No reason they wouldn’t be able/willing to monitor progress of young talent playing overseas.
