Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Collision
[Updated] Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision that resulted in the death of 21-year-old Ezariah Matthie, saying they “are particularly keen to speak with a man who was at the scene at the time of the accident, but left the area before his details could be recorded.”
A police spokesperson said, “Police continue to appeal for witnesses in the road traffic death of 21 year-old Ezariah Matthie, which took place on Monday 29th February around 2:38pm at the junction of Ord Road and Harvey Road, Paget.
“Police are particularly keen to speak with a man who was at the scene at the time of the accident, but left the area before his details could be recorded.
“Anyone who may have witnessed this fatal collision or may have information on the movements of Mr. Matthie before the collision should contact PC Evelyn on 247-1145.”
Update 4.51pm: The police added that they are “interested in speaking to a male dressed in all black and wearing a white crash helmet who was walking east along Ord Rd toward Harvey Rd at the time of the collision and can assist in the investigation.”
