Ball Hockey Association Championship Finals
The second game in a best of three series in the 20th BBHA Championship will take place this evening [Apr 22], weather permitting, with the Oshawa Generals to take on the Vancouver Giants at PCC Rink at 7.30pm.
Oshawa is up 1-0 in the series after a commanding 6-0 win on Wednesday night, marking Dave MacPhee’s second recorded shut out in a row and his third of the season.
The Generals narrowly squeezed in it to the playoffs with a 5-4 win in a double elimination wild card night against the Sarnia Sting, and then moved on the semi-finals where they eliminated the first place Gatineau Olympiques in three games.
Vancouver eliminated the second place TriCity Americans in two straight games to punch their ticket to the finals.
