Can someone from DPT provide an explanation when these service revisions are announced? Other parts of the world would provide a professional explanation – due to construction etc. Or does the DPT prefer us to guess? Are they taking time off for Training in Public Service? Perhaps a funeral to attend?
I think it really disrepectful and very much inconsiderate to close the central bus terminal kiosk, when folks up to 11:45pm are needing change, tokens or tickets to travel on the bus. In a modern society as Bermuda, why can,t the kiosk remain open til its usual closing time. Nearby businesses should not have to be asked to make change for a fifty, twenty,or ten dollar bill, they need their float to run their business. If its a maintenance iss ue put up a temporary ticket booth same as they have at the Agricutural Exhibition with security, if that is/can be a concern.
