Friends Of Hospice To Hold Charity FootGolf
The Friends of Hospice will hold a charity ‘FootGolf’ event on Saturday, April 9 at St. George’s Golf Course, with all proceeds to assist the group.
The event will get underway at 10.00am, with the cost at $45 for adults and $25 for children under 16; corporate teams are also welcome.
The game will feature a 9 hole format, with six players at each hole and a shotgun start.
Prizes will be available for first, second, and third place, along with worst score, best team, and most enthusiasm.
The event poster says, “Bring you own footballs. Size 5 balls must be used for persons over 14 and size 4 balls for persons under 14. Proper golf clothes or football team kits must be worn while playing. Sneakers only should be worn. No football boots or golf spikes.”
