Rotherham scored in the 10th minute, and Wells scored in the 22nd minute of the match to pull Huddersfield even at 1-1 where the score remains as of this writing – which is 30 minutes into the game. We will update as able.
Update: The match has concluded, with the final score remaining at 1-1.
The club’s match report said, “Rotherham enjoyed the best of the opening 20 minutes and took the lead through Greg Halford, but Nahki Wells’ 20th minute goal changed the flow of the game and it was the Terriers who went closer to winning it – with a good penalty shout turned down and Wells having a late goal correctly ruled out for offside.
“In the end the share of the spoils gave Town a point, which incidentally secured Town’s place in next season’s second tier with three games left to play.”
Well done, WELLS!!!
