Cashiers Closed: Complaints Over Air Quality
The cashiers’ offices of the Department of Social Insurance are closed today [April 19] “out of an abundance of caution over complaints regarding air quality in the Department,” the Government said today.
A spokesperson said, “Members of the public are advised that the cashiers’ offices of the Department of Social Insurance are closed today out of an abundance of caution over complaints regarding air quality in the Department.
“However, the rest of the office will remain open with limited staffing while the issues are resolved. The public can call 294-9242 with any enquiries. Payments can be made online using the bill pay function of Butterfield or HSBC internet banking.
“The Department apologizes for any inconvenience caused.”

Poor air quality is a common problem in several buildings in Hamilton, especially those like the Government Administration Building and Global House. They have no fresh air intake as all windows are corked shut. Do they get any dumber!
