Jamhal, take a break bie’. Who the “f – r” you. Where were you when the Progressive Labour Party where the Govt? because you certainly know how to run your mouth now!
He was in the UBP I think.
He has been in every political party!
You will find out who he is next election when the PLP win foxes boy.
It IS happening Mr. Simmons. Not everything is perfect, I grant you. I would like to see more BTA support for the Guesthouses and Vacation renatl properties advertised on Airbnb, Homeaway etc. However, those businesses are already reaping the benefits from events such as you mention. I didn’t hear “Americas Cup” mentioned, but I am willing to bet that all of the tourism related properties are juggling their May and June 2017 bookings. I am also willing to bet that the owners of said properties understand that it is THEIR responsibility to provide the experience necessary to bring the tourists back. Government ministries and tourism authorities can only “lead the horse to water”. To get them to drink the owners need to up their game. Nobody else can do it.
I am finally willing to bet that they will be successful.
The reality is that the worst thing that can happen to our Tourism product going forward is politics.
