BELCO To Hold Discussions With Customers

BELCO said they would like to advise their customers that they will be conducting a series of small group discussions with BELCO customers in June with regards to improving customer experience.

“The research will be conducted by Total Research Associates [TRA], a public opinion and market research firm. Representatives of TRA began calling customers last night, May 25th as part of the recruitment efforts and will continue through June 15th,” a spokesperson said.

“To ensure the discussion groups are representative of BELCO’s customer base, as part of the recruitment telephone call, a series of demographic questions will be asked. Customers can be assured that all information will remain completely confidential.”

    The “customers” (not by choice) should be turning the tables and marching on Belchco. They are ripping off the public, with the help,of the government regulators who are complicit. Around the World energy prices are plummeting, in Bermuda we have increases of up to 20%. The locals are very passive!

    So in the last few weeks they have announced a significant increase in annual profit, announced that rates for some subscribers will be increasing and now they are going to survey customers. Pretty poor timing I think.
