    Leave dem people alone ..

There are people killers on the loose and Barons idea of national security is to go after folks trading in grass .

    • You Cant Fix Stupid. says:

Coffee – As much as you don’t want to believe it some of these “people killers” kill because of drugs.

      • Coffee says:

Grass isn’t a drug , grass is grass , cows eat grass , people kill cows and eat them .

        • Check Ya Self says:

Cows eat grass, not a mind altering plant with THC known as grass. Very different.

      • sage says:

if cigarettes and alcohol were illegal , the same behavior (or worse) would be the result, but these two legal drugs kill far more people annually than drug war induced violence and illicit drug deaths combined anyway.

        • hmmm says:

So you are saying because they are legal they cause deaths …interesting…so why legalize cannabis if it will cause deaths at it will be legal like alcohol and cigarettes????

          • sage says:

Man, you are a special kind of stupid.

          • Earth watch police says:

So show us evidence on marijuana related deaths.

            • Check Ya Self says:

FACT : Marijuana impairs your judgement and affects your mind, thoughts, judgement and motor skills like any other drug. While it may have certain medicinal benefits (so does cocaine) don’t be so ignorant and believe it is harmless. Furthermore there is nothing natural about todays genetically modified marijuana. It is 10-20 times stronger that any naturally modified weed found in the 80s and 90s.

The reason you do not hear of deaths caused by marijuana is because it is rarely sought after or tested as a cause of death. The internet is full of examples. You may want to look up some of the other side affects of long term use as I think you may be suffering.

Just to keep you satisfied, how about this story about about 37 students that died of overdoes the FIRST DAY it was legalized in Colorado.

              http://dailycurrant.com/2014/01/02/marijuana-overdoses-kill-37-in-colorado-on-first-day-of-legalization/

Or this one – still thing you pot brownies are harmless?

              http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2015/03/third-death-in-colorado-linked-to-edible-marijuana/#.V0ebmI-cHD4

Or how about this one about the rise in weed driving deaths.

              http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/pot-fuels-surge-drugged-driving-deaths-n22991

Still think nobody has ever died from “a little weed”?

              • sage says:

Daily currant is a spoof site dingbat, you are a veritable expert on regurgitating reefer madness style propaganda, congratulations.

              • The Original Truth™ says:

Apples at the grocery store are more genetically modified than today’s cannabis. Much of the modifications done that make stronger strains is done through natural means of cross pollination of stronger strains same way it has been done for centuries. There’s no way to prove that today’s strains are 10-20 times stronger since test were never done on past strains. Someone could have crossed pollinised two potent strains back in the day to make a highly potent one. Netherlands coffee shops still sell strains developed in the 1960s because they have the strength of modern strains.

I find it amusing that you are quoting a tabloid news like the Daily Current that have such bogus articles as http://dailycurrant.com/2014/05/05/study-links-homosexuality-to-eating-grits/
Let’s all stay away from grits folks or our children will turn out gay. LMAWO!!! :D

Good!!! Now can we find a jury that will convict???

    • Raymond Ray says:

      I agree with you 100% Kangoocar…

      • sage says:

Growing a harmless plant should never result in any conviction, go lock up the cigarette and alcohol and pharmaceutical pushers who are actually killing people, with you two fools and governments’ endorsement.

        • bush says:

@sage you’re absolutely correct dat de PLANT is harmless (Um never seen a plant shoot or murder somebody) but how many people have been lost because de harmless plant, in other words, drug trafficing and distribution?

@sage you’re absolutely correct dat de PLANT is harmless (Um never seen a plant shoot or murder somebody) but how many peoples lives have been lost because de harmless plant, in other words, drug trafficing and distribution?

    • sage says:

This law needs to be (and will eventually be) abolished.

    • BobTheBuilder says:

Legality has never proven morality. Something being illegal does not mean it is wrong. Slavery was once legal. Interracial relationships were once illegal….hmmmm think about that??? Are they both wrong or immoral????

      • You Cant Fix Stupid. says:

Sometimes we must protect people from themselves.

        • Your joking says:

        • inna says:

          God? That you??

        • sage says:

Oh yeah, like how we freely import, endorse and enrich a few with the two deadliest, genocidal drugs, which we afford legal status, heck, we ignore the drinking in public laws and grant liquor licenses to pop up tent bars on public family beaches, and Front Street, we already allow people to drink and operate vehicles up to an arbitrary level of 0.8, we also allow our children to smoke cancer sticks (millions of deaths annually) at 16 and alcohol and car license at 18 whilst stating the human brain is not fully developed until 25, and we also don’t enforce helmet standards.

          • Zevon says:

It’s a slippery slope. If we legalise cannabis, pretty soon you’ll be wanting to be allowed to have heroin and cocaine, and to hand out drugs to children. The slippery slope argument. Works every time.

So you support a law derived from racism just because it’s a law? Weak minds are easily controlled through fear of the unknown. These weak minds are what hold us back from progress.

“The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this.”

        • The Original Truth™ says:

    • wahoo says:

You’re right look how much police time was wasted here. If weed was legal there would be no need to grow huge amounts you could grow it yourself. Smoking or eating or brewing would be personal choice. The value would drop and the criminal interest would disappear entirely leaving the cops time to fight real crime like gunman.

      Tourists would love this place!

Put that in your pipe and smoke it (ha ha)!

  9. Stuck on stupid says:

Going after people for marijana is a major waste of tax payer money. The cost of police making a sting is bad enough. Now tax payers have another case to pay for and if they go jail thats more money being paid out. Legalize the marijuana n get the schools fixed. Every country that had legalized it has seen major growth. Stop wasting tax payers money. Wake up bermuda.

  12. mmm says:

It has been suggested that there would be less hard core crime if marijuana was legal. I don,t know. It has further been suggested that cigarettes and liquor, which are legal, are responsible for thousands upon thousands of deaths a year. Perhaps there is some validity to the medical marijuana, per haps there is a case for recreational use of marijuana. It is a known fact that countries around the world, have begun taking steps toward decriminali sing possesion of small amounts of marijuana for personal use. The legal minds have a certain mindset, well really that varies too, same way for the health professionals. Let,s not talk to the economist, he /she will surely advocate for it being legal for it will discharge the national debt.

While we are talking about a few unknowns in the middle of the atlantic who were caught growing cannabis plants take a look at what other people are talking about…
Lace up your sneakers and get ready for the first and, so far, only, weed-friendly gym to open soon in San Francisco.

Power Plant Fitness will allow edibles and vaping on-site to start with and eventually will add an outdoor smoking deck.

The philosophy of the fitness club includes the use of cannabis as a tool for focus and recovery.

New members will take a “cannabis performance assessment” under staff supervision to determine the “most optimal ways to consume,” explained cofounder Jim McAlpine.

“We are focused on the athletic side, not the cannabis side,” McAlpine told Tech Insider. “And helping our members figure out the best way for them to ingest their cannabis.”

Founder of the 420 Games – a series of athletic events held annually to promote the healthy use of cannabis – McAlpine has the same attitude toward the gym.

“It won’t be a place to get high and just screw around.”

The gym seeks to underscore the mission of the 420 Games, which is to show that pot smokers are not lazy and unmotivated and to encourage responsible pot use and a healthy lifestyle.

Some athletes find that an edible provides the physical or mental motivation they need for a long run, a circuit-training workout or a fast-moving Zumba class.

For others, Power Plant Fitness will provide a safe haven for weed lovers who need to unwind with some bud and barbells after work.

With legalization on fire around the country, many athletes and regular folks looking to stay fit, swear that weed has performance-enhancing qualities such as easing anxiety and increasing their pain threshold so they can push themselves during workouts.

Elite triathlete, Clifford Drusinsky, a Colorado gym owner who also leads training sessions fueled by edibles, told the Men’s Journal that he does his workouts while high.

“Marijuana relaxes me and allows me to go into a controlled, meditational place. When I get high, I train smarter and focus on form.”
