PLP Branches Thank Community For Support
The PLP Sandys Branches extended their thanks to the Sandys community for supporting their annual week of activities which included a Community Church Service, Public Forum, Health Walk and a Cod Fish breakfast.
A spokesperson said, “The Sandys Branches of The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party would like to extend their warmest gratitude to the Sandys community for supporting their Annual Week of Activities.
“MPs Jamahl Simmons, Kim Wilson, Dennis Lister and Michael Scott with the support of the branch executives, PLP members and supporters of constituencies 33, 34, 35 and 36 hosted a series of events over the past week under the theme, ‘Unity in The Community.’
“An annual event that resumed in 2014, this year’s Week of Activities included a Community Church Service, a Public Forum on the 1977 Riots, a Health Walk and Health Fair in conjunction with Allen Temple AME Church and a Cod Fish breakfast.”
