Aon Recognized With 2016 Trading Risk Awards
Aon plc received top honors at the 2016 Trading Risk Awards last week, as Aon Securities CEO Paul Schultz won Outstanding Contributor of the Year and Aon Insurance Managers [AIM] won Market Facilitator of the Year.
A spokesperson said, “As CEO of Aon Securities, Paul has helped develop the firm’s market leading practice advising clients on M&A, starting new companies and transferring insurance risk to the capital markets. Paul, who joined Aon in 2000, also leads Aon Benfield’s investment banking team and is responsible for providing investment banking products and services to Aon’s clients on a global basis.”
Mr. Schultz said, “I am very honored to receive the Trading Risk award for outstanding contributor, especially given how integral insurance-linked securities have become to many [re]insurers’ risk transfer strategies.
“With $72 billion of capital now deployed in alternative capital investments, we are only just beginning to realize the potential of this market. It has truly been a privilege to serve our clients in this space and I look forward to the opportunities that will arise moving forward.”
“Aon Insurance Managers, awarded Market Facilitator of the Year, provides a full range of global management services to all types of Insurance-Linked Securities [ILS], Collateralized Reinsurance, including through its White Rock group of transformer companies, and Structured Insurance vehicles.
