Saturday: Traffic Signals On Cavendish Road

June 17, 2016

The Ministry of Public Works said they wish to advise the public that there will be traffic signals in place on Cavendish Road tomorrow to allow the Ministry’s road cleaning crew to attend to overgrown trees that must be cut back in order to ensure the safety of pedestrians and road-users.

A spokesperson said, “The work will take place between Cavendish Road near the Corporation of Hamilton Car Park to just east of the Shelton Road junction. Crews will be working on this stretch of road from 7.30am until 3.30pm.

“There will be a single traffic lane in use, therefore traffic signals will be used to control traffic during this work time.

“The Ministry apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused to the motoring public while these vital works are carried out.”
