Photos: Bermuda Heroes Weekend 5 Star Friday

Despite the forecast for inclement weather, a large crowd turned up for the Bermuda Heroes Weekend Five Star Friday event last night [June 17] at the North Field at the National Sports Centre.

The National Sports Centre’s large tent provided shelter from the rain that didn’t make an appearance until later in the evening. The weather did not dampen the spirits of those that spent the night jumping and waving to the entertainers that performed throughout the event.

Earlier this week Jason Sukdeo, President, BHW, said, “We are looking forward to kicking off Bermuda Heroes Weekend tonight at the North Field at National Sports Centre.

“The remaining BHW events – J’Ouvert, Parade of Bands, Pan in the Park and The Raft Up – will be held at their original locations and will go ahead in the event of inclement weather.

“To purchase tickets for Parade of Bands and the Raft Up, visit ptix.bm. Pan in the Park is free to all spectators.”
