July 21, 2016

Cup Match Summer Splash is set to be staged on July 23 and July 27, featuring performances by Jah Cure, Beenie Man, Collie Buddz, Sanchez, and many more.

A spokesperson said, “Following in the footsteps of three previous years of resounding success, the first night of entertainment to launch Cup Match Summer Splash is one not to miss. Taking place at Par-la-Ville Car Park in the City of Hamilton, gates open at 7:30pm.

“The evening begins with an early warm by Blackstar, followed by local singers Ali Malik and Ramon Clarke; both singers are not new to stage shows on the island and they both plan to entertain from start to finish.

“Dancehall lovers will be excited for the next acts, which include SoulJah One and Stalwart, led by Magic and J Groove accordingly. The dub expo consists of 15 minutes from SoulJah One and 15 minutes from Stalwart. During this time, each sound will play special recordings or dub plates that have been crafted specifically for their respective sounds. They will finish with a friendly one for one.”
