Premier To Deliver Cup Match Message Tonight

The Cabinet Office advised that Premier Michael Dunkley will deliver a Cup Match message this evening [July 25] at 6.50 p.m. It will be televised on Bermuda Broadcasting channels 7 and 9 and Government’s CITV channel, and Bernews will also post a version online.

“In his message, Premier Dunkley will discuss the uniqueness of the Island’s Cup Match holiday and its historic symbolism. He will also highlight the important strides Government is making to ensure prosperity and success for Bermuda,” a spokesperson said.

    The Premier must continue to message to the Bermuda people–once a week would not be too little–about the work that his team are doing and to set out the accomplishments that have been made to date in driving Bermuda’s recovery for the benefit of her people–all of her people.

    The OBA have been very poor at communication. They have been told this time and time again and they just don’t seem to refocus and recalibrate.

    To the person that is advising the Government’s communication strategy–you kinda have it a bit wrong—its not too late to change.
