Project Action Continues Fundraising Appeal

July 4, 2016

Project Action — a charity which provides free transportation to seniors and the physically challenged — continues their fundraising appeal, saying that they need to raise $10,000 by July 15th in order to continue to provide services.

Co-founder Cindy Swan said, “Project Action is making an urgent appeal in order to keep providing free transportation services to our Seniors and disabled population. The bus is in need of immediate parts and service to get it back on the road.

“If we can raise the funds, we will try to remain open by raising the addition funding required. We need to raise $10,000 by July 15th. Your support will allow Project Action to continue giving free service to the community that cannot afford taxi fare, do not live near a bus depot nor have family to transport them.”

Donations can be made online at Butterfield Bank, account #20006060282255100.
