Court: Men Charged With Cannabis Possession
Two men appeared in Magistrates Court today [August 4], with one denying possessing cannabis and an offensive weapon, while the other admitted possessing cannabis.
20-year-old Kethyio Whitehurst pleaded guilty to possessing 1.96 grams of cannabis in February. Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo fined him $300.
30-year-old Brendan Hunt pleaded not guilty to possessing cannabis and not guilty to possessing an offensive weapon in the form of a ‘lock knife’.
Mr Hunt was given a trial date in October and was granted $3,000 bail.
