PartnerRe Appoints Head of Global Client, Broker
Bermuda-based PartnerRe Ltd. announced that Jörg Bruniecki has been appointed to the position of Head of Global Client & Broker Management effective August 1.
Mr. Bruniecki will be responsible for ensuring that PartnerRe’s largest multi-national clients experience a cohesive response to their needs, managing PartnerRe’s key broker relationships and rolling out a consistently client-focused approach across the organization. He will report to Group Executive Committee member, Charles Goldie.
Commenting on Mr. Bruniecki’s appointment, Mr. Goldie said, “I am very pleased to welcome Jörg to PartnerRe. Jörg’s expertise will be instrumental in helping to advance our strategy to build deeper and more meaningful partnerships with our clients and brokers that will ultimately help them grow their businesses.”
Formerly Head of Corporate Client and Channel Management at Munich Re, Mr. Bruniecki was responsible for managing various aspects of client relations including the strategic development of broker relationships, developing Munich Re’s sales capabilities worldwide and more recently, business development for the company’s non-life business in central eastern and southern Europe.
Mr. Bruniecki started his career as a property underwriter at Generali Lloyd Versicherung AG, before joining Munich Re in 2001 as Property Underwriter and Client Manager for Global Clients.
He holds a diploma in Economics and Accounting from the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart and is an alumni of the Horst K. Jannott scholarship program in cooperation with the Georgia State University, Atlanta.
